At Buckle My Shoe Preschool, families are an essential part of our school community.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we maintain an open door policy that welcomes parents into the life of the classroom. We believe children thrive when school and home feel connected, and we intentionally create opportunities for that partnership every day.

Parents are often invited to participate by sharing a special interest or talent, teaching a craft, reading a favorite story, or celebrating a cultural tradition or holiday together. These moments enrich our curriculum, broaden children’s understanding of the world, and help them see their families reflected in their learning environment.
