Monday was Kai's (from the 3s class) birthday. We had a fun day celebrating with him! We had a big dance party, dancing to different versions of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Kai's favorite song. We kept busy with the water table, counting bears, and painting.
Tuesday was Noah and Gabriel's (from the 3s class) birthday! We had a special themed dance party, pretending to be turtles- complete with rocking out to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme song. We also made winter themed paintings. Using glitter, the children sprinkled on "snow" to their paintings, allowing them to work on creativity and fine motor skills.
Wednesday we had Spanish and made some Christmas ornaments. We will hang them on our tree (we are getting one soon!) to enjoy them at school. During Spanish, we continued learning about different body parts and enjoyed singing songs together.
