Today was very exciting: our friend Ava came to visit and play with us today! She even wore one of the dress up skirts, just like she used to do every day! It was really great visiting with Ava and sharing the new parts of our classroom with her.
Have a super weekend, we are closed tomorrow for Staff Development. On Monday we will be going to Eataly for our field trip and departing around 9:20. Let me know if you have any questions.

We read almost every book in the classroom today!! It's National Read-Aloud Day, and it's also Dr. Seuss' birthday! We read What Pet Should I Get? by Dr Seuss in his honor. Here's a selection of other stories that we read this morning: Don't Push the Button, Three Billy Goats Gruff, Three Little Pigs, The Feelings Book, Biscuit Visits the Petting Zoo, Animal Babies Peek-a-Boo, Duck in the Truck.
We sang: If You're Happy and You Know It, Five Little Monkeys & other songs throughout the day.
