We've start to notice more and more cooperative pretend play in the classroom.  It seems that the students are entering each others play scenarios, wanted to talk about what's going on or finding ways to contribute to the play that has already begun.  It's a lot of fun to watch the children work towards understanding each other and also making stronger connections with each other.  

  • Circle Time- Greetings and names, making music with bells

  • Art/Sensory play- painting, working with play-dough 
  • Specialist- None 
  • Reading-  "Dream Snow," "Bear Stays Awake for Christmas," "Mouse's First Christmas"
  • Math/Science- building with our big blocks, exploring light
