Today we celebrated Music Tuesday for Week of the Young Child! We celebrate by inviting Josie from 3B to do a special musical workshop with us, we painted rhythmic symbols such as the quarter note, half not, and eight note while listening to classical music, and moved our bodies in the gym to our favorite classical pieces such as “Flight of the Bumble Bee” by Rimsky Korsakov  and “Rodeo” by Aaron Copland. We also explored Kodaly symbols and listened to  a new instrument – the cello! Overall, we had a very busy, fun, and musical day!
